This is definitely not normal as Windows Security in XP should always recognize SecureIT as a valid antivirus, antispyware, and firewall program.
One suggestion would be to set your license key for reinstall by right clicking on the control panel icon in the lower right. This will bring up your account settings where you can click to set your license key for reinstall at the bottom of the page.
This will auto generate a reinstall email with the installation link.
You can then try to uninstall your current SecureIT version and reinstall using the link in the email to see if that resolves the problem.
